These highly acclaimed applications are part of WSI’s WeatherActive Digital Solutions Suite.

Combining highly skilled forecasting with cutting-edge digital technology, WSI’s WeatherActive Digital Solutions enable leading broadcast stations and cable channels to provide audiences with vital weather information and to brand and monetize their messaging -- online or on the go. With WSI’s unique white label approach, WeatherActive Digital applications can be easily customized with a station’s look and logo. The new WeatherActive iPad offering combines leading-edge, meteorological content with a best-in-class user interface and eye-catching visualizations. The result is a superior, mobile application for world-wide locations that keeps on-the-go users ahead of the forecast with frequent, local weather information.

WeatherActive Mobile application is available for iPhone and Android smartphones. Station viewers can now check the weather anytime by taking a station’s weather franchise with them where ever they go. (A recent Pew Research study* revealed that 72% of all mobile phone users check the weather on their phones throughout the day.)

WeatherActive Daily couples a “sponsorable” email service with a customized web site that provides complete daily weather news for registered users. When site visitors register for membership, their registration information belongs to the station, not WSI.

Hosted by WSI, the WeatherActive Daily web site provides comprehensive weather information for 10,000 forecast points in the continental United States and 50,000 sites around the world. Delivering the most accurate local forecasts available anywhere, the site also extends a station’s reach far beyond its DMA. Like other applications within WSI’s WeatherActive Digital Solutions suite, the WSI WeatherActive Daily web site, can be customized to match a station’s look and brand.
